3D Careers: Research-informed career clarity and motivation

Feel stuck about what to do next?

Not sure what suits you anymore?
Going round in circles trying to figure it out?

I help people make sense of that and work out what to do next.

3D Careers is my research-informed approach to careers guidance. It is designed to help you gain clarity, direction, and self-belief—not just about your future careers but about yourself. Tested as my MA in Career & Coaching Studies at world-leader Warwick University, 3D Careers helps you find your voice, unleash your talents and find direction

How 3D Careers works

The programme is structured around three clear stages:

Discover – understanding values, cognitive patterns, strengths, and how the student learns best

Define – clarifying interests, motivations, and possible academic or career directions

Decide – making confident, informed choices about subjects, pathways, and next steps

Rather than surface-level advice, 3D Careers uncovers what is really holding you back and helps you reconnect with the strengths, talents, and personal qualities that make you you.

You Will:

  • Identify and break down hidden barriers to learning, confidence, and career progress
  • Understand how past learning experiences may still be affecting you
  • Discover and celebrate your innate abilities, talents, and aptitudes
  • Rebuild confidence by reconnecting with your authentic voice
  • Gain clarity about subjects, pathways, or career directions
  • Leave with clear, realistic action steps

What You get:

By the end of 3D Careers, you will have:

  • Three 60-90 min one-to-one consultancy sessions with Naomi Sutherland, a fully trained careers practitioner and member of the Career Development Institute
  • A personalised strengths and personality report
  • Clear insight into your learning and career barriers
  • Identified talents and focus areas for development
  • Practical action points for career/study next steps
  • A renewed sense of belief, motivation, and direction
In the field of vocation and calling, Naomi has an exceptionally strong grasp of the subject matter and its integration with practice. ” - Gill Frigerio
