With over 16 years’ experience in education and careers, I combine academic consultancy, careers guidance, and research-led insight to help young people reconnect with learning and realise their potential. I work directly with senior leaders, pastoral teams, students, and families to provide insight, guidance, and support at moments where capable pupils may lose focus, confidence, or direction.
My work draws on postgraduate study in learning, education and careers development and my approach combines research, practical experience, and tailored programs designed to inspire engagement, build motivation, and foster long-term growth.
I help schools to harness potential in students. If they have lost motivation, focus, or need support on subject choices and career paths, I draw from years of experience as a tutor, academic consultant and qualified career guide to identify and support pupils who are academically capable or those who are quietly struggling, maybe around transitions or high-pressure points.
I provide confidential, evidence-based insight for leadership and pastoral teams, helping to strengthen engagement, prevent escalation, and ensure pupils thrive academically and personally.
When students find it difficult to choose subjects, disengage from learning, or feel uncertain about their future, it is rarely due to a lack of ability or potential.
More often, they are still developing clarity about who they are, what motivates them, and how their interests connect to meaningful pathways.
The same is true for many adults who experience dissatisfaction or change mid-career. They are not short of skills or opportunities; rather, they are at a natural point of reflection, seeking renewed direction and alignment.
